The Daikin Europe NV (DENV) Commercial Business Unit defines the middle and long-term strategy for the commercial air conditioning product segments, such as the VRV™ and Sky Air product range. Overall objective is to remain No. 1 in DX applications in Europe and secure our market leadership.
The Consulting Sales section’s main mission is to fundamentally strengthen the knowledge on Daikin product advantages and customer benefits, in the different Daikin Affiliates and Distributors across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Through its different activities, the Department targets to level up the confidence of the local engineering staff in the different Affiliates and Distributors, and as such driving the local Consulting Sales function to achieve higher benefit out of the local market potential.
As a Consulting Sales Engineer, you will be supporting the promotion of Daikin products and applications in the DENV Group territory. Especially in growth markets like the Middle-East, Africa and CIS countries, you will advise technical consultants and specifiers with regards to our HVAC products and applications.
This may be during presentations in international seminars and promotion events, as in proper HVAC calculations and design submittals. Our sales teams involved in direct approach to international key account customers and independent Daikin distributors, will require technical specification support from your side on regular basis as well. As such, we aim to create a strong internal network within EMEA including best-practice sharing, training execution and roll-out of large project support.
Moreover, the Consulting Sales section endeavours to keep track of market evolutions like the use of BIM objects, does groundwork for our HVAC systems to fit into Sustainability schemes like BREEAM, LEED, WELL etc. and supports the uptake of various Daikin tools like our selection software.
Your home base is Daikin Europe, Brussels Office headquarter, but you will literally be a ‘high flyer’ prepared to travel frequently.
With a Master Degree in Civil, Industrial or Commercial Engineering, you display a good balance between a commercial mindset and technical interest, which are essential to this challenging international function.
However, you will remain yourself : a strong, enthusiastic personality with just one concern – to add a new, exciting chapter to the Daikin success story. You are a team player, stimulated by new challenges, pro-active and eager to learn. Above all, as you will be in contact with highly qualified specialists, you are communicative - definitely in English and French. Other European languages are a plus.
